Test toning on test roughs for TTX. You might recognize the panels.
Finding a drawing style I wanted to work in took a lot of trial and error, but the toning/coloring style of the comic is taking some work. Trying to juggle:
- (Emotional) Tone
- How cool it looks
- How well it works with the pencilling style
- Ease of execution
- ??? …Magic?
Ease of execution is a biggie, because it can’t be so intricate that it takes too long to repeat across a lot of panels, but it’s equally bad to look sloppy. I have a lot of regrets about part 1 because at the end there’s definitely a fight between my drawing style and me (fighting change even though it’s happening anyway), which helped prolong the comic’s hiatus (lots of frustration). To continue needed experimentation and freedom, but I can’t just do that all over the comic when its story has an established tone and story progression.
I know people who read the comic mostly don’t give a crap about my artistic growth or personal needs or whatever, and they don’t have to, but… it doesn’t change how this is gonna go down. 8|
(Meanwhile PG-chan is patiently waiting and is the best co-creator you can ask for because look at my skittish ass over here >.>)
Teen Titans Go! Episode 3 “The Date” Clip (by ComicVineVideos)
Clip from the date! So exciting, another episode out of our studio (with a scene from http://pure-plum.tumblr.com/ )! Tune in next tuesday to see it!

Their first time.
A lazy Sunday afternoon.(Does anyone know that Sifl and Olly skit where they’re singing some 70s pimp song and Olly goes, “Get in my round bed”? I always think of that when I see Starfire’s bed. Anyway. >.>;;
*EDIT* OH LOOK, I found it, hahahah. D8 )There’s, ah… a variety of Robin and Starfire requests that came in, but I felt like doing this style and it was fitting for this, I think.
